Today I am going to drive to a location where I am certain there are numerous oil/gas wells. I will first drive to Caldwell Texas and head East from there. The goal is to get a bucket of crude oil. Here is a short video of an active oil well.

This is my “Mobile Command Center” (computer desk).  It is highly mobile because it is made up of a $10 door and 2 sawhorses.

Started out early today (about 7am) and dropped off a load at the 5×5 storage unit I have at Uncle Bob’s self storage.

I found a sausage factory and decided to stop and ask for help finding an oil well. The nice lady in the store  said “There are oil wells everywhere out in the cotton fields” prompting me to immediately drive out into the cotton fields. And 10 minutes later – Down a long dirt road.

I believe this is where all the tankers in the area meet to upload the oil into the pipeline to be taken to the refineries near the coast.

I drove to “Elroy Oil field” today in search of an active Oil Well. I drove around for about 2 hours in th e vacinity but to no avail.

I asked an elderly lady in a convenience store where there any oil wells arond here and she thougt for about 5 seconds and said “Not that work anymore”.

I did find this at the end of a long dead end road – had nummerous do not tresspass signs around it as well as “High Voltage Fence”
